Anne Salinger-Cox

At age 18, Anne Selinger Cox turned professional and began her training career. Anne owned and operated a training barn in Canada for 26 years. Anne had a very successful show career winning many Grand Prixs and hunter championships across Canada, including venues such as Thunderbird and Spruce Meadows. Throughout her riding career, she developed many young horses into top hunters.
After an accident in the early 1990s, she turned her focus towards coaching and training riders. Anne then moved to Germany for three years and helped Eddie Macken, a world cup grand prix rider and Irish medal winning Olympian. During this time, she travelled to many of the most prestigious shows in Europe, including Hickstead, Paris, Rome, World Cup finals and world championship.
In the mid-1990s, Anne moved to Seattle, Wa, and was the head trainer at Parkside stables for 18 years. At Parkside, Anne coached all level of rider and progressed many of her students from the pony ring to champion hunter riders, medal riders, grand prix level jumpers, and developed a number of professionals in the area. She had a very successful career at Parkside winning many Zone championships, WCHR Awards, WHSJA Awards, also qualifying juniors for indoors. Anne is a USHJA certified trainer.
