As a young rider, Kya eagerly sought out every opportunity to be in the saddle—catch riding, volunteering at local barns, and working to fund her own lessons. Through years of hands-on experience, she developed a strong foundation in horse care, barn operations, and the day-to-day dedication required in the sport. She has owned two horses of her own and has competed in both the hunter and jumper rings, gaining valuable experience in the show environment along the way.

Danielle, Kya’s mother, has been a constant presence throughout Kya’s riding journey—supporting her from early lessons to the show circuit. While new to horse ownership, Danielle brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach and a strong commitment to creating a well-run, welcoming environment for both horses and riders. Her perspective, combined with years of involvement in the sport, plays a key role in shaping the farm’s vision and experience.
